Windsurfing - Tacking ( 19 - 22 sec Videos) 
  

 
Tacking refers to turning the front of the board through the wind.  When you tack you switch your body form one side of the board to the other.  You make this switch when the bottom of the sail touches your leg. 

It is easier to turn around by tacking (turning the front of the board through the wind), than by jibing (turning the back of the board through this wind.  Thus, to turn around you begin your tack by leaning the sail towards the back of the board.  This will turn the board into the wind.
